if your phone rings, you stare at it in shock as if you never expected it to make a sound and just leave it ringing.
if you’re brave enough to pick it up, it is only after the 20th time,just to hear the click of the poor caller’s hanging up.
if you are not afraid of the telephone and actually want to pick it up, then it’s only when you enter your house, with your hands full of grocery bags.
